My son was murdered senselessly on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in broad daylight on his grandmother ‘s block.

 His life was taken and his future was shattered by gun violence. The shooter was never prosecuted and still live amongst people in the community. 

My son life was not taken in vain not if I am still alive. I will use my voice to continue his life and legacy and say his name “Marcus Tafari Samuel Downer”
